I have done a check for my "check engine light" and recieved a code 17.

I know this is soemthing to do with my speed sensor.. does anyone know what the exact problem is and how to fix it??

check to see if its unplugged first, then check to see if it is loose and broken. I went through a few of them, because the side mounting bracket has a tendency to break. also be aware that there are 2 different versions of the vss

do u have a catalytic on the car? if not maybe u need a simulator to keep that check light off...but if u do have a CAT and its on reset it by taking the negative off the batery terminal, wait a minute then put it back on...u gotta re-due ur radio stations but it should reset it, but if not one more time, then ur screwed i dunn0
