Default Clutch Problems

I have a 00 prelude sh. Just bought the car recently. Already having a problem. When I have been driving my car for about 30min to an hour.. and I come to a stop light and press the clutch in... its makes a sqeeking sound.. like something is rusted. It doesnt do it the morning when the cars sat over night. But with driving about an hour. The squeeking starts? Any ideas what It might be?

Throw-out bearing could be bad.

Mine does the same thing, dont bother replacing that cylinde thing (Clutch Slave Cylinder) cause i changed mine out and it did not solve the problem. Its more than likely what was stated above, throw out or release bearing.

It could be the slave on the release fork.

Is it just when you push in the clutch once? or is a continuous squeak?

but what we are asking is does it only squeek when you push the pedal down and once the pedal is down it does squeek and if you let the pedal up does is squeek

or is it when the pedal is down its a constant squeek, you ave to describe exactly how when and duration of the squeek and we can diagnose the problem.

ok this is how it goes.

When i push the pedal down..midway through this it makes a squeeking sound. I'll continue to push it to the floor... and it stops.. when i let back up on the clutch, coming up mid-way it squeeks again. So basically it squeeks at the same time. "midway" through engaging/disengaging the clutch

Okay, That's a very common thing. it the slave pushing on the clutch release fork. You could try putting a little grease on it but chances are it will just come back in a short amount of time. Nothing to worry about though. Mine often does the same thing.

ok I'm not sure if it's the same thing but mine does the squeeling and metalic rattly thing.. the car judders real hard when I try a pull off.. started happening about 2 months ago.. real pain in the neck to drive around town in this current state... the squeeling sounding only happens when the clutch is midway just biting... I was thinking realease bearing.. but am broke right now...
