I have a 5 spd. 92 Prelude Si 4WS w/ H23a1. the clutch went out on it last month and i got it replaced 11 days ago. today going down the road i noticed the clutch started to catch lower and lower to the floor. eventually the clutch just stuck and went out. i didn't run the car hard AT ALL. could something be making it go out fast? i also replaced slave & master cylinder. Please help. Thanks

 

sounds like you're losing fluid somewhere along the way. follow the line all the way down. There's a spot above the transmission about halfway back there the hard line to the slave and the line from the master come together. Check to make sure that isn't leaking, I had it happen to me once

 

sounds like maybe who ever did your clucht didnt bleed they slave cylinder all the way if its stickin to the floor and you may have a leak check to see if the resouvir is low on fluid.

 

i checked the fluid and its still at the max. i wonder if somehow a line could be clogged causing fluid not to go into the slave/master cylinder... i guess i just need to bleed the slave cylinder and see.

 

I would recommend bleeding the clutch line. Air in the line can make a sloppy pedal.
