Clutch problem
My clutch won't let me shift into any of the gears, my buddy said that it's probably the clutch hydralic fluids or something, or that there might be a leak on the lines. The weird thing is that I turned off the motor and turned it back on and it worked for a bit drove it around and then it started doing the same thing? Anyone got any other answers thanks..
if you have a leak in the clutch line it will not build up enough pressure to operate it.
Check all the fittings on the clutch line to make sure they are not leaking and make sure they are tight. Then try and bleed the clutch with all new fluid.

Could be a a busted spring on the clutch plate too. Does it make any noise? </TD></TR></TABLE>
No noise, only thing is that when i step down on the clutch there seems to be no pressure, and the clutch is stuck at neutral, it won't engage into any gears at all. I'll check this out thanks

Have someone press in the clutch and you check and look at the slave cylinder to make sure its opening up and engaging the clutch. If your slave cylinder is working properly, its not gonna be a clutch line problem.

The cylinder is not opening, so is it the clutch? My buddy and I just installed the clutch too, maybe w did something wrong

my 98 was doing the same thing...
Look for fluid around the master cylendar and the slave... I had to replace both recently... but not at the same time...
1st the Master cyl, then 3 months later the slave had to be replaced. Our clutch systems suck.

If it was the master cyl, wouldn't the clutch pedal slowly move upwards once you step down on it? Mine at the moment is all the way down and it won't come back up?

That sounds like you need to bleed the system bad.

Same issue???</TD></TR></TABLE>
Sounds like the same issue but I can't force it into gears, I tried forcing it but it's too hard to push it into the gears. The thing is that my buddy just installed the ACT clutch and this tranny is a used one but I don't think its bad..... I had this happen to me before and my friend said it was the lines leaking or something but he was not sure too because he forgot.

You dont disconnect it... you turn the valve and bleed the system just like brakes.
