Default cluster problem


5th gen model

when im at a stop at night with my headlights on, if i rev the motor the gauges will get brighter. is this a alternator problem or what?

When you give it gas, your voltage go up which means lights will get brighter

you sure? b/c it seems like it gets drasticly brighter

Then you may wanna take your battery in and have it checked to be sure it's pushing out the right amount of voltage. Also check and be sure your alt. belt isn't real loose

could def. be an alternator problem, especially if yours is old and is need for replacement.
