CLUNK??
I just got my Ingalls camber kit for the front and have it slammed on ground controls. My problem is that when im stopped and turn the wheel or jsut start out sometimes or hit a little bump it clunks. Im not sure if the upper control arm is hitting the fender or not as i cannot see up in there but when its sitting there u can bounce it so that would mean its not resting on it. Any idea of what to do and if thats the problem? thanks for your help! oh yea i tryed searching but really didnt find what i was looking for so dont get mad
Yes I cut the bump stops. Everything is installed correctly. And this problem didnt start happening until the camber kit was installed. Im guessing that because the camber kit moves the control arm to adjust the camber that it is causing it to hit occasionaly. Just seeing if anyone else had this problem before i go through and start grinding out fenders and what not. but thanks for your help.
if it's not the bump stops it could be your ball joint(s) going bad. I know my lower passenger side one is bad, and when I start out or hit a small bump you can hear a clunk.
It happens to me too. Ever since I got my Ingalls camber on. Plus my car is not even drop..I still have a 2 finger gap between my wheel and fender.. I don't know the problem, but it's ticking me off.
