The sunroof and the cruise are conveniently located on the dash (just like the usdm). I'm in the process of acquiring a set of jdm door skins that will accomodate the switches, etc for the new "driver" side door panel...

man..yea i wouldnt even think about that either...if you have a decent understanding of whats involved...its muchhhh easier to just cut out the firewall and weld in the new one..my pal did it on his 240 pretty fast..but the wiring was definately the gayest part.....

Sick project yo, if i had the time and lewt I would do something like that too. Good you are taking the time and doing it right rather than a hack n weild job. I wouldn't want to push a chop n weilded frame too hard for fear it might snap a weild and send me into a ditch.

No way. Not on a unibody car. The body of the car is the structural support. You would run the risk of getting in an accident and the car splitting in half.
