To clarify a potential misunderstanding
I posted about doing an auto to manual tensioner, and got a response from Scott (prelude1897) and his help worked FLAWLESSLY.

I did not make clear that I was doing the conversion to repair a faulty auto tensioner that failed and my timing jumped drastically, causing some engine damage. It came accross that the damage was done after I did the conversion per Scott's help, and want to apologize for any misunderstanding. The help from Scott was perfect and easy to follow, so if anyone read the post and thought that it did not work or caused damage, please understand that that is the complete opposite of what happened.
Thank you scott for the perfect advice!!!!
