Default Chipped ebrake chrome button

Have you guys change your chipped chrome ebrake button? mine it's basically almost showing no chrome at all and it looks so ugly specially when you can still see little parts of chrome on it. Can I actually just change the button or do I need a whole ebrake handle? I don't know maybe it's just me, but little things like this bug me with my interior I'm getting sick of looking at it like

Me too. I was looking into changing mine too. Not sure how to change it. Looks like you need to change the whole e-brake assembly. But I am not positive.

this may sound like a stupid question but how would you go about removing the shift **** handle? i just installed a rear e-brake console w/ the compartment that goes between the rear seats and i was wondering if there is a way to remove the e-brake handle without removing this console? I tried pulling the e-brake handle off with the jaws of life and it didn't even budge an inch. Is there a screw or bolt that's holding it down? The chrome off my e-brake button is also chipping and i want to either spray paint it or switch it out. Thanks guys

the e-brake button is screwed on with a spring under it. All you have to do rotate the e-brake button counter-clockwise and it should pop right off.
