ok I have a 1988 prelude s the carb year , here is the problem I turn on my car and the check engine light comes on for a little and then cuts off thats normal I know, but then I run the car for like 30 mins and when I get up to about 45 mlh the light comes on does anyone know what the problem could be?????????????

Plus one, but best guess tells me its an o2 related code, IDK the functions of OBD0.

 

It sucks cause its like 95 bucks just for honda to do a diagnosis for the light

 

i dunno about 88 preludes but in 92s and up theirs a radio harness in the back of the radio console stripped some wire and place it in their,your check engine light will blink,lets us know the diagnostics on your check engine light...
it could be a knock sensor,or egr valve sensor..thats what mine brought up
