alright i just recently put in my dc sports 4-2-1 header, everything is where its suppose to be and the sensor is back in. but the check engine light still turns on, i tried resetting my battery but that didn't work. does anybody have any ideas on why the check engine light still comes on?

 

jump the service connector and count the flashes.

1 long flash = 10
1 short flash = 1.

dont bump when i gave you a damn answer. JUMP THE SERVICE CONNECTOR AND PULL THE CODE. THEN POST WHAT THE CODE IS AND MAYBE WE WILL BE ABLE TO HELP YOU. Comprende ? On a 4th gen its behind the radio, 5th gen on the passenger side of the radio behind a carpeted pull away peice of plastic.

 

bump for what? how bout you check or jump the service connector behind the radio. find out the code. and then you can know exactly why the light is on.

instead of coming on here and asking everyone why they think you check engine light is on. because it could be a thousand different things.

If you wanna ask me why I think your check engine light is on. I think its because your car doesnt like you. but I dont think there is a code for that.

how did we ruin it.
we gave you the answer on how to find out why your check engine light is on. you didnt want to use that information to your advantage. I even gave you the site that you should have searched for yourself. It tells you all of the codes.

If you posted the engine code we could have given you more info on what to do to get rid of it.

Now did you find out why you check engine light is on?
