Changing from boost to NA

I've never raced or dragged my car.
I don't have a 9 psi dyno, as my ride is self/street tuned. Manual ludes with the JRSC have made 210-230 whp at 6 psi and 250-260 at 9 psi. Anything higher than 6 psi is unthinkable without upgrading the fuel delivery and engine management (i.e. large injectors and a standalone).

What the **** is a SMTP header?
Turbo's can be very reliable if they are built/tuned properly. I know from personal experience. The reason you hear all these horror stories is because people do not do their homework when it comes to having a properly running turbo motor. People cheap out, cut corners, then pay for it in the end. When you go turbo compared to NA there will be a lot more maintanance... such as checking/changing your oil religiously, making sure hoses/lines/couplings remain in-tact, doing compression tests, and inspecting for anything out of the normal in the engine bay. You will also hear new noises you never heard before and smell things that are not normal, get used to them. Going turbo is great, but always expect the unexpected and before you do it make sure you have enough money for everything plus another 1000.
You are one of the smart ones to back out early before you end up in a money pit like a lot of guys do. As far as your NA build up looks, how much are you looking at spending total and how much power are you looking at getting?

This is currently what i have on mine since my turbo dream went down the tubes, due to my engine spinning a bearing. I still need to make it bake to a dyno

-SMTP Header (if I can get one/ afford it)
-Hondata (or what else should I get? (v-afc?)
-Dunno what kind of exhaust but was thinking of the greddy evo
-change the timing a little
-Bigger injectors?
-Possibly a qaufie lsd and some better tires</TD></TR></TABLE>
If you're getting an SMSP header, why don't you just get the hi-flow cat and catback while you're at it? I wouldn't think you'd need bigger injectors w/ the set up you describe.

as for money; well I don't have a whole lot. Trying to pay off my car in one year is hurting me pretty badly. On top of that my legend is still not running the way I want it, till it does I can't and won't sell it.
My engine on the lude is a little old just to do the basic kit. I wanted to resleeve and build the engine completly before even cosidering boosting. TO keep it realiable I was going to run it at around maybe 10-12 psi with a fully built engine.
but for the na, If I do anything it'll only be the basics. I won't touch the head or the block, I could always change my mind 3-4 months down the road and decide I want the turbo set-up. I was hoping for maybe 20-30whp, not 100% sure what I want just yet.
Why is it that I alway hear about turboed prelude spinning a bearing? Were they not upgraded or is there no aftermarket?
