CEL reads code 71
Alright guys I had a code 71 come up which is
Misfire Detected -
Cylinder 1
Possible Causes
Ignition System
Fuel Supply System
EGR System
IAC Valve
Contaminated Fuel
Lack of Fuel
Valve Clearance
Fuel Injector Circuit
Low Compression
So I took out my plug wires and put em back in, checked the oil level which was a little low and refilled it.
I`m pretty sure my IAC valve is a little dirty but havent had a chance to clean it yet. My car has been driving fine, no hesitation, however I do have the rattling noise coming from my TB tensioner and havent had a valve adjustment done yet. I have 92k miles and the car seems to be running normal except for a jumping idle when I first start the car in the morning when its cold out, it doesnt last too long though. What gives? I really hope I dont have any bent valves, but it doesnt seem like I do. Oh yeah and the light went off last night but I still want to know whats goin on.

92k is time for a complete service:
t-belt
tensioner
valve adjustment
throw away the balancer shaft belt - not necessary, but fun
cap
rotor
plus
wires
oil
oil and air filter
or just clean the intake filter
it will run like a champ, and u can jump the ecu and bump the timing a dregree or two
