Default CEL Question

hey guys. i recently put a drag turbo on my 96 prelude. i am using a hondata s200B with a p28 ecu with a jumper harness. the weird thing is is that when i start my car with p28 it throws a code 9 which i believe is a non repairable distributor. and when i put my stock p13 in it throws no codes... the shop im going to tune at wont tune my car with a check light. so what do you think it is? they say that it could be from the jumper harness. are they right? any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

This is a good question. I will soon be tuning my p28 however with uberdata. Did you have to convert to obd1 to make the turbo work?

yeah thats whay i mean by the jumper harness.. i have the obdIIa-obdI harness. they say that the harness could be the problem with the random code... i dont exactly know if you HAVE to convert to OBDI but i heard that it is better to. so if anyone can help i would appreciate it.. thanks
