Hey guys my CEL came on a few days ago and I read up on how to check it by shorting out the wire. After trying this my CEL light would either stay solid or disappear. My ABS light did give me a "code" and it was 1 Long blink followed by 6 short ones, so 16? I have no idea if ABS is supposed to give me a code. I then went to pepboys and go the OBD II autoscanner and after giving that a try all it gave me was "error" and said there was a problem with the connection or something. I'm pretty sure that it's my o2 sensor because whenever I first start moving my car has a bit of lag and when I shift from 1st-2nd gear and so forth there is a slight 1-2 second lag before my car will actually accelerate. Any help would be appreciated.
