hey guys got a noob question. ive got a 95 lude with a h22 in it. my cel is on. ive been a tech for 5 yrs now but ive have no experience with driveability problems pre obd2. if there is a dtc port somewhere i cant find it. and ive heard that there is another way to read the code but i have no idea how to do it. can u guys help me. ive searched already within the past threads and cant get a good explanation on how to get this resolved. i dont mind doing the reading if any 1 could just point me in the right dir. by the way the cel doesnt stay on all the time it will come on while im driving. when i cycle the key on and off it wont come back on. . nor does the light come on everyday. again any help will greatly be appreciated.

 

theres a 2 pin blue plug behind your sterio that you need to jump

 

ok if i jump it then whats supposed to happen. how do i identify the code. a little more info is needed. again i have no experience with pre obd2 driveability issues.

 

the CEL light will flash.

add the flashes together

long flash = 10
short flash = 01

there are pauses between codes then it will repeat the first once it is done giving codes.

 

Your going to need a manual. Buy the factory manual for 10 bucks online.

When you count and add up all the flashes let us know and I'll even go look up what error code you got for the time being untill you get your own manual
