Default CEL

Searched, but I couldn't find anything.

Does anyone know where the hook-up is to get a computer reading on the CEL I'm throwing on my 99 base prelude? Or in that case how I can read the code on my own? I know if I count the number of blinks that gets me something but how do I get my vehicle to throw the code if that's the route I should go?

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

the connector is located behind the right cover of the center console. It will be by the left leg of the passenger side. You have to bend a small wire and insert it in both connector openings. Once you have that done turn the ignition switch on and start counting.
