Hey i've tried searching already, but have only found ways to install the catch
can on b-series motors.

does anybody on here know how to install theses on the H22, or even have

THanks

it goes between the PCV and the intake manifold.

the best way to do this would be to use two -12an hoses coming from the valvecover to the catch can w/ breather. remove the stock nipple and pcv valve from the valvecover and install two -12an bungs in the back of the cover.

i would also remover the oil baffle underneath of the valvecover as well to allow pressure to escape quicker.

ofcourse none of this will make a difference on a stock internal motor anyway except to keep crap from going back into the intake.

Yup, cheap too for both fittings and the actual filter from Home Depot. Does the job.

How is it working out for you? Looks like the capacity is very limited.

That is true, it can't hold much... but I went this route because I couldn't find anywhere to mount my Greddy copy catch can. I didn't want any long hoses running around the engine bay. Have only been running this set-up for about a week and a half and there is about a spilt amount of oil in there.

This is my setup. I kept it as close as possible to the intake manifold so i had small length lines. I used Goss fuel hose to hook it up. I also put a baffle (stainless steel wool) inside the catch can to improve its performance. In the first six months i had no baffle and collected 125ml of black crap oil. Now i have the baffle in i am going to see how much it collects in the next 6 months. My car is a dd bb2 H23a1 and so i only occassionally let her rip at full throtle. In December i will post the results of my little test. All in all very simple to install oil catch can for normal car use, if you are heavily modifying your car i would suggest some more research, i know this topic has been covered a few times by DD's and Race Drivers. Goodluck with it.
