Default cat problem

I have a 98 lude and my cat is shot the cone is broken so it rattles at low RPMs, I have no exhaust yet plan on getting the RS*R soon should i just gut the cat out get a cheap one off ebay or get a magnum flow????

really doesnt matter. it want make much gains. plus you still have stock exhaust.

i was wondering the same thing. i have stock piping and i was wondering if anyone would reccomned the cheap EBAY HIGH FLOW CATS(30bucks)? or a PACESETTER one for about 180 bucks? would my car sound deeper or raspy?

A $30 cat will probably last 30 days. Carsound/Magnaflow cats are pretty good IMO, I've had mine for almost 4 years now. It won't make the car more raspy, but a resonator is still a good idea.

I just recently changed my carsound high flow cat that lasted me over 2 1/2 yrs.

I would recommend getting it. I payed about 120 installed.

Those ebay cats are POS and will probably break apart in a couple months.
