hey all... im kinda stuck here... i cant choose between the greddy ss header and the dc sports ss header... can someone please give me some facts about the two... and which one you would choose... any info would be greatly appreciated... thanks

out of the two that you listed you should go with the g-reddy, dont get me wrong, both the greddy and the dc suck. but the dc sucks just a little worse. And yeah, if you have the money you should definitely go for the SMSP or the mugen.

 

$975.00 from King Motorsports (the only authorized dealer in the USA), but I've seen it on other websites for about a $100 less, but no warranty I'm guessing. I don't even have the cat-back exhaust yet, but I can really feel the power gains especially in the midrange.

 

975 for a header!!! hell no!!

i'd get the greddy, or save another 2000 dollars and get a turbo kit, 975 for 3 or 7 horsepower is outragious. For the same amount you could get a NOS kit and a bottle warmer and get 30 hp...

 

if you saw some dyno posts of the mugen and just the intake resonator removed youll see that it gains much more than 3 to 7 hp...more like 12-15whp. I have them myself and tell you the truth best 1000 bucks i spent so far.

 

In that same respect...

The same money you spent to buy your Prelude could have went for a Mustang or Camaro! So why did you spend the money on a Prelude? Quality? Style? Just your personal preference? You could have gotten a lot more horsepower for your dollar if you had bought one of those cars!

simple..cause mustangs and camaros get about...5 miles to the gallon. and they're pretty ugly as compared with the honda line

 

I know that the price is outrageous for the Header and or the exhaust...But theres something about it. When people see it or hear you say you have Mugen (Moo-gen) theres that special twinkle in their eye. And to me that 900 bucks was worth it....Plus its wicked as hell, has the stock sound to it and its not raspy or farty but mean as hell.
