cam timing was off

Default cam timing was off


my freinds cam timing with off 1 tooth i forget weather it was on the intake or exhaust side but he have mess up anything? he drove around with it for atleast 2months and just realized what the problem was

what did it do because I think mine is off it runs fine but when you get on it a little it starts to act like it needs fuel.

Get a timing gun and check it if you think it's off.

It's cam timing, not ignition.

yeah my ignition timing is right at 16, but im prolly gunna just change out my timing belt and fix the cam gears to TDC

Nope; mine jumped a tooth or two and i drove on it like that for a few months. The valves will not hit anything.
