Default Caliper Problems

So basically, i bought my car about 2yrs ago, a 1995 honda prelude si, i tried bleeding the brake system a couple days ago, and to my surprise the little **** you turn to bleed each caliper are all seized, i tried spraying Wd-40 but it didn't work and i ended up striping the ***** you turn. So i'm wondering if you guys had any suggestions for buying calipers? should i get stock ones or After-market, and what's the price difference? Also what are the advantages of getting an after market one? thanks

he's asking for calipers and not pads/rotors from your suggestion.

in your situation, just get the vtec calipers / brackets. a good plug and play swap. 1 inch difference in size too.

don't get any "big brake kits" because you won't / will not need it. its just for looks for the most part.

get some cheap autozone rotors and some good pads and you will be set

i'm guessing you ddin't read my post.

you can't get hawk calipers because there is no such thing. brembos are like ~ 1200+ range. so if you want to spend that much, go right ahead.

Just go to autozone and get oem replacements...it's easier and a no brainer since you can't seem to grasp the concept.

go to Napa and ask for loaded calipers for the vtec model, they will come with the brakets, pads, and misc. shims you will need. All you need then are the rotors

I think they wil be about $50 each with you cores from Autozone. I paid $75 each with cores for my rear calipers a year ago. Rears are more expensive because if the parking brake setup

I totally should have gone that route when I just did my front brakes a couple weekends back ); as I only got the weee si calipers/rotors up front. I wonder how they would take a SI core exchange for a vtec caliper haha.. have to pull a fast eddie.
