sorry i should have pointed out it is my own shop... i did them for $25/rotor, the calipers i did for $30/ bracket. he wanted 4 rotors done so total was $160. keep in mind this is CDN funds.

That is exactly how you do the Legend GS two piston and NSX calipers. I did mine last winter and love em. Also, if you use the Legend rotors, they are thicker and won't brake fade as badly. They are heavier, and take some time to figure out where to drill since they are 5 lug. But it's all worth it.
Great write up, man!

Nice but I went with ITR calipers and ITR discs. the discs were MUCH cheaper. only small issue is that one of the 5 lug holes will overlap one of the 4x100 lug holes.
you lose a slight bit of material and will be a bit off balance. but the amount lost is negligable. not even a wheel weights worth.
plus as long as the lug holes are true and centered the wheel is what holds the disc on anyway and the hub.
also hardened washers between the disc and hub solve the machining issue on my DC2 GSR. and my friend redrilled the holes for free at his work's cnc machine

I had a heck of a time trying to find a machine shop that would touch modifying a brake rotor and/or a caliper.
When I started to ask my question all they were worried about was being liable for me crashing my car because my brakes didn't function properly. I had to have called at least 10 machine shops and all of them told me no.
