Broken Radiator cap...inside
I have a unique question for all the HT users. I went to check my radiator fluid, a simple task of pulling the cap off right? Well the cap broke, and piece attached to the spring on the bottom of the cap was stuck in the top of the radiator. I was fiddling with it to get it out and low and behold the piece falls in to the hole where radiator fluid goes. Will this cause any negative effects on my car, make my radiator blow, or will it make its way into the engine....basically is it safe, or somewhat safe to still drive my car?
Damn $100 for radiator, upper and lower hose? That's pretty cheap actually. I got my radiator itself for 95 bucks the seller wanted 105 but i knocked it down to 95. But to the topic, you could take off the radiator, and try to get it out that way.
