the boot switch you mean? I want to say it's in the latch, but that can't be right. If you've got some current sensing alarm, removing the light bulb for the boot might trick it into shutting up.

I love australia, but nsw footy sucks... go adelaide go!

OK OK TRUNCK what ever u guys call it.
yea ok but how would i know where the sensor is i would want to ix it incase some one tries to steal anything out of my TRUNK(boot). whats the weird thing is if i check for connnectivity at my lights switch in the trunk it has but when i put a bultd it works right so it reads as my trunk is open but out of no where it hasnt got any conectivity and no light is on. so i need to know wheres the trnk sensor if anyone knows.

Yea australia's not bad u gotta love the women her.

alright - from the manual: the switch for driving the lightbulb in the trunk (and the gauge in the dash) is located in the trunk latch. There should be continuity between the two terminals of the 2-P connector.

For the bulb, there should be continuity between the two terminals. It's polarized, though, so test it with negative as the wire going to the trunk switch.

HUH. ok once i checked for connectivity at the trunk light there was and it was showing on my dash that the trunk was open but when i closed the latch the trunk light was still on. would it matter that i took my trunk metal off to fit my subs in the two rods that make the trunk lighter.
