Boosting a B20A (3rd gen)
I sent my block to goldeneagle.com for them to build what they claim holds 60lbs of boost. Its a 90 si with the JDM b20a, 5 speed. I am trying to find out where I can get a good head gasket, head studs, fuel pump, FMU and stage 3 clutch. Thank you for your help.
I know that only the sleeves will hold 60lbs. I was just letting everyone know what the set up was going to be before I asked my question. Now that that is out of the way, anyone now where I can get the parts I am in need of. I am pretty sure I have the head studs taken care of, still looking for the rest. Thanks again.

Thats the site you should check for parts for the 3rd gen. Crower makes cams, gude makes a head package
that sucks from what i hear. Im still trying to find a fuel pump for myself...the only company that makes one for us is Venom.
crower also makes rods too...I THINK. Good luck man.

Pretty sure that Wiseco makes a low compression piston that will fit. I am pretty sure that Tom Coleman of Ludespeed had talked with Wiseco a long time back and they were going to produce that part or it was the same as from another car or something. Also, aren't H23 rods the same as B20 rods? Hope you are going with a custom kit and not the Ludespeed kit. I had that kit and the exhaust manifold is not bad at all for a do it yourselfer working out of his garage. The rest of the kit is bloody friggin average to **** poor.
Hehe. Visited London and Scotland back in August.
On the 3rd gen the P/S line runs right over top of the exhaust manifold. There is actually a TSB about the 88 Preludes experiencing engine fires from that line catching fire from the heat of the exhaust manifold. The later Preludes had some heat resistant wrap on that line but it was a stupid way for Honda to route that line. Obviously turbo engines get a lot hotter than N/A engines. Over a relatively short period of time that turbo will cook that line and it WILL catch on fire. Not maybe, no perhaps, it damn sure will. Tom, being the hack that he is, had his line catch on fire TWICE during what I guess you would call his R&D period if he was at all professional. Of course, he did not tell anyone about the fires and sold the kit as is with no warning of the potential of fire. So, my engine catches fire. To make a long story short you need to ditch the P/S on your car or find a way to reroute that line. I guess you could wrap that P/S line again and keep an eye on it but you are playing with fire, so to speak. I am sure that is what that hack Tom would have you do.

h23 rods will fit. crower makes some. I was personally wondering about vavles and all the goodies involving those. Any ideas to help further this discussion?
