Which Block/Piston/Rod to use?
Hey guys, I have a complete F22a1(torn apart), a H23a1(bad crank), and a H22a1 (taken apart, bad crank), blocks and wanted to know, what would be the best setup for me to go from here? I wanted to put the F22 crank in the H23 block with H23 rods and H22 pistons...would this be the best setup for me? It will be mated with a H22 head... Also, I heard that with an F22 crank in a H22 block, the block will need to be decked? How much should I deck the block and what exactly does this mean/do? Thanks in advance...

Go through the hybrid threads in the FAQ. These deal with mixing and matching parts from different engines, and you'll learn other related info. Good luck

This would be an h23vtec With the parts you have that would be the best bet. You can use F22a1 crank with H23 rods but not the H22 . If you want to put the F22 crank and h23rods with H22pistons inside the h22 block then you have a h23vtec just in an H22block " secret stroker"
