I have a 94 Honda Prelude Si and I am going to change my brake fluid, clutch fluid, abs fluid, and power steering fluid. I wanted to know in what order I have to bleed my brakes in my car. And also my brake pedal goes to the floor but "only" on hot days, and I don't know when the brake fluid was last changed, could this be the cause?

sounds like you got air in your lines, which bleeding should take care of.

is valvoline dot 3 and 4 brake fluid good?

I'd get the DOT 4 and there is no ABS fluid. It's the same as the brake fluid. Clutch fluid is also the same exact thing as brake fluid unless you have an automatic.

sorry i meant to say the valvoline that has dot 3 and 4 combined in one. Also when I start the car I hear the ABS motor engage for 15 seconds or so, and then after that the ABS light comes on. I heard it is some valve that opens at first and then closes but in my case it is not closing. Could changing my brake fluid in the ABS system make it work again?

I suppose it could help to flush out the old fluid and get any air out, but I don't know for sure. That ABS system is too damn complicated for me, I just took mine out

Have you checked the ABS codes? Should be the same as checking engine codes...

no I haven't checked the codes. The reason for this being is that I don't know if a regular code scanner will do ABS too or I probably need to buy a specific one. And it can't be the wheel speed sensors because I cleaned those when I changed my axles last week.

94 is OBD1 so you can get the codes with a paper clip. Jump the blue 2-pin connector behind the radio.

There's a ton of info on available on this. Just jump the connector, turn the ignition on (don't start the car) and the engine light will flash and give you the codes. As far as I know the ABS light does the same thing.
