Default back on the dyno.

well i put my lude back on the dyno to check and make sure everything is still up to par. i have still yet to install hondata, so my fuel curve looks like a friggin roller coaster. well my power went up a little just from age.
the dyno does have a built in weather station

i wasnt sure that my last post on my prospeed header did it enough justice over the jun header so i took some rpm reference points and showed the differences in power from the 2 headers. remeber the prospeed header still needs a lot of tuning. also my scanner is broken so no charts but the numbers should speak for them selfs.

rpm: jun prospeed

6000 164 152
6500 179 187
7000 195 211
7500 211 225
8000 200 222

the air fuel with the prospeed header is 11.8:1 at 6000 rpm it is a smooth climb to 13.6:1 at 7500rpm and then comes down to 13.3:1 at 8000rpm.

again to prospeed.

Thanks.

definatly. if youre going the N/A route you would have to be crazy not to buy this header.

Does it need modifications to fit a 5th Gen Base??

As for your JUN setup, are they Stage 2 or Stage 3 cams? Is valvetrain upgrade required for these cams even if I dont rev over stock limit? Where is a good source to purchase JUN products?

Steve has Jigs for the 5th gen with AC and PS... So, yes... it will fit...

Just make sure Brian tells Steve its for a 5th gen when he orders the header...

Does the header bolt on to stock cat? or like SMSP replaces the cat and needs cutsom exhaust to fit?

Custom work on the end of the header/cat or test pipe side of the exhaust...

I have the AN-R version of these headers sitting on my floor in the spare room...

This one comes with an unflanged 2.5 outlet, Im pretty sure the prospeed version is the same way...

Your loyal to the "prospeed" header... Testing would be bias...

Im going to put something together for a little later this year... A completely non bias 3rd party test that will be done on 3 seperate vehicles powered by H22 motors...

Ill get in touch with you for use of your header if you want to participate...

Do you think prospeed would make a H23 header ? Same design, just different bolts. I know a few people that would be interested (including myself)

To make sure the test is truly 'fair' you should swap all three headers onto the same h22, in the same day.

Using three different motors each wearing a different header would just be a waste of time.

Or an AN-R. I'm making pretty close to 200whp w/ i/h/e and a chipped ecu.

Rick, im missing the whole point of your statement as to telling people where the header came from.

Also, you have a biased opinion against the prospeed header, so testing would be off according to your earlier statement.

I have nothing against prosped... I like Steves work and Rage as a whole, therefore I have nothing bad to say about the headers prospeed sells... Its a good product... I just think credit should be given where credit is due... Steve makes great headers so to Steve... Prospeed is a good dealer to Prospeed...

Basicly meaning... Niether me or anyone associated with any of the header brands/offerings will be involved in the testing...

Itll go something like this...

Vehicle 1:

Header X = XXX.XX
Header Y = XXX.XX
Header Z = XXX.XX

Vehicle 2:

Header X = XXX.XX
Header Y = XXX.XX
Header Z = XXX.XX

Vehicle 3:

Header X = XXX.XX
Header Y = XXX.XX
Header Z = XXX.XX

I am working on a few things that need to be finished up before I get to anything fun (ie, header testing/comparison) so Im shooting for later this year...
