i prefer to run the psi equivelent to the hp that the motor puts out.

so in my h22a i run 200psi...and it is fine!

You can boost a stock block B20A5 depending on the condition of your engine to 6-7 maybe 8psi. If you want to go higher, then you must do a rebuild of all your interenal parts like rods, piston & rings, valves, port & polish and so on and so forth.

You must take into a consideration the condition of your engine like oil leaks, compression testing and so forth before dropping a turbo kit on to your engine.

There is a company that makes the custom manifold and downpipe for the 3rd gen preludes.

http://www.lsdmotorsports.com

I personally have purchased from them and they have the 88-91 preludes on their site for some aftermarket parts. Check them out.

And here are some dalily driven boosted 3rd gens for an example, please keep in mind this all depends on how you do your setup:

Power Output Updated 11/08/06:
Daily driver 400+whp and 380lbs torque 3rd gen turbo lude.

Power Output:
I put down 179hp atw and 187 tq. on 5.5-6psi

Power Output:
200hp @ 6psi

Power Output:
158 w.h.p and 159 torque - Dynoed @ 8psi

And here is the link to the complete thread on these cars and all the info you will need to Turbo Charge your 3rd gen specifically:

You know sappy, just spreading the proper info about our cars. Trying to keep all that wrong info at bay and educate all the non-believers in the 3rd gen Lude
