I need to replace the left side axle in my 93 prelude but my problem is that the swap is an SH. What axle do i replace it with since the half shaft won't bolt up to the block? Has anyone made an adapter plate yet? The one that i have on there has a welded piece of metal but that broke and I don't have a welder.

pirate makes adaptor plates.

Use base axels if you are using the adaptor plate, with that you need the base int shaft and base trans.

Why Why Why would you have a SH engine and trans in a 4 gen? But if you need to keep it . I think if you measure the axle to make sure it is the right length then take apart the inner cv and replace it with a SH inner cv. If you need SH axles I have a set for cheap. But I would double check that is all you need.

 

I don't have an sh tranny, just the motor.

 

What year trans do you have? you would have to do what I said about measuring and also change out one of the cv joints to match the splines.
