Default Auto Stalling/Power loss

Well I already know the auto trannies suck *** but I'm not 100% its the tranny. Anyways, occasionally and only when Ive started the car cold in the morning or night when I get to the first stop and slow down the car will start shaking pretty nasty and eventaully die on me. It feels almost exactly as if I were to come to a stop with a manual but not push in the clutch making it stall out. I then have to put the bastard back in park and restart it, but after that itll usually drive perfectly fine, especially after its warmed up. Im assuming its my tranny going doodoo but is it possible it could be something else? Maybe my battery thats always leaking acid is getting weak or something. I thought maybe changing the plugs, cap, and rotor and all that good stuff might make a difference but it still happens. One other strange thing my car does it the headlights will get dimm or flash off for a split second when I change gears, also usually when its cold. The only other thing thats changed it I have some subs and amp now, but I'm not sure if just a coincidence but it kinda goes with the whole losing power thing.

Just wanna see if anybody's had a similar problem and maybe solved it or had any ideas. If not I guess I'll just have to wait for a new battery and for the tranny to finally explode

i had that happen to me too but it didn't stall on me...although it felt like it was going to. I'm 90% sure it's the tranny going bad...however, you can check your spark plugs, check if your battery terminals are tight, and check the fluids (oil and ATF).

I'd check wiring, fluid(tranny), fuel pressure, or crap in the fuel lines
