automatic tranny rolling back at a stop?
hey guys
while i still have my auto tranny, i seem to have experienced many kinds of oddities.
1) sometimes ill feel the tranny hop, its kind of hard to describe, but in a manual drivers perspective, it feels like you are letting the clutch out too fast and the car is getting a little bump. it only happens when im stopped and accelerating. however, im not flooring it or anything, just normal driving.
2) on some pretty slight inclines, my car rolls back even though it is in d4. why is that? i have never experienced this before, and i am just recently noticing it. seems like the tranny isnt in gear?
any ideas?

As for question 2 I remember seeing a service bulletin that mentioned the rolling back on hills. Said it was normal because of reduced drag in the auto trans to improve fuel economy. But based on the first question sounds like there may be tranny issues. Don't know what that would be, the only thing I've done with an auto is convert it.
