What are some common causes for this light to be on. My car is running fine so im assuming that it is a sensor but im curious if anyone has any more info that they can give me. Sometime tanny gets jammed, it doesn't let me go into first unless i pump the clutch is that normal or due to high mileage.

I recently changed the fluid in my atts unit. the light turned off for about 20 min then turned on again. I installed a cooler for the unit so I'm thinking it might just need more fluid because the aftermarket cooler takes in more then the oem one did. What are common reasons for the light to come on.
My car runs fine even when I run it hard, but I'm just tired of seeing that light on.
Any input would be appreciated

Throw a dart at the underside of your car. Whatever the dart hits is causing the problem.
That method is far more accurate than asking for our guesses.

low air tire pressure, running diff size wheels/rims...everytime engine light comes on atts light will come on, fix and clear code...low fluid in atts, sensor, too much horsepower but i doubt that's the case..can be going bad, or a sensor

My check engine light was on I checked the code and it was a bad O2 sensor. I changed it the light went off but my ATTS didn't go away. O well if my car starts actin up Ill just take in to get it checked out. It would be to much of a headache for me to take out the unit.
