ATTS Fluid?

Re: ATTS Fluid?
I see two numbers for replacing the ATTS fluid. Just a drain and refill seems to be 1 US-qt, however with the ATTS service, it is 1.5 US-qt.
The previous owner of this car changed the radiator, however he did not re-fill the ATTS fluid. He just quickly disconnect and reconnected the lines on the new radiator. When I drained the fluid, I might have gotten out maybe 1/3 qt of fluid. There was also ATTS fluid leak from the radiator hose area when I drove the car 3 hrs (first time after accident from 1 year ago). I realized one of the clamps was not put on properly, so hopefully this fixes my leak.
I put 1 qt of oil in there, but I am wondering if I should have put the 1.5 qt since the oil cooler was leaking? What do you guys think?

Do the oil inspection test listed on the previous page. Basically you get the oil up to operating temp and then remove the check bolt and make sure some is coming out. If nothing comes out, you need more.

Yeah, it's definitely a little weird the first time you do it, but I promise it's fine, I've done it before. Alternatively, you could probably go take it for a spin around the block to get it up to temp and then check it.

Re: ATTS Fluid?
Drain and fill is on the driver's side close to where you drain the engine oil (underneath the car). If the car is up on jacks it should be fairly easy to get to; it's also easier to access with the wheel removed, but you can do it either way, iirc.

Re: ATTS Fluid?
It doesnt matter what amount of fluid is, just buy two qts and fill it until you see fluid start to come out of the fill hole........just like any other Manual transmission fluid change
