Icon6 ATTS

Is it possible to add ATTS to a base 5th gen?

Doesn't it just replace one of the half shafts, + ECU and associated wiring?

Anyone ever do this before?

What are horse shoes, are there horse socks?

It'd be better in the long run and for performance to just add an LSD to your existing transmission. A good LSD will outperform ATTS any day.

LSD has different functions.

i'd say for big horsepower LSD is a much better choice.

but if youre runnin less than 250 hp or doing autoX ATTS would be better IMO

Yeah but ATTS is only active during cornering while LSD can do acceleration, cornering and deceleration depending on the type of LSD. It would probably cost about the same amount of money to do as well. OP, you also need an ATTS trans, you didn't put that in your original post, you can't just add ATTS to a non-ATTS trans.

AutoX+ATTS=FAILzzz, if anything its decent for RR'ing and spirited driving.
The computer can't seem to keep up with the snappy turns.

Buy an LSD trans or step up for a Quaife.

ATTS unit
ATTS trans
All additional sensors PLUS wiring all of those sensors
P5P ecu
ATTS control unit
Correct halfshafts
etc, etc...

OP, not worth it. If you want ATTS, sell your base and buy an SH. The biggest problem with the ATTS swap is all of the extra sensors needed for the ATTS control unit.
