Could be. If they are more or less than a couple percent different total circumference than stock it will trip the ATTS system (just like your spare will). What size are you trying to run?

only if you a putting a significant difference in circumfrance from one wheel to another.

Like if you put small wheels on the front and bigg on the back.

If all the wheels are the same the atts light should not be on unless ou have an actual problem.

get the code for the atts?

The other wheels I have are 18's so they are quite a bit bigger than my stock sh wheels. I know to read the ATTS codes you have to jump the connector with a paper clip or somethin but do you jump it to ground or what? I know thats kind of a stupid question but I have not read too many codes this way.

It's just two conductor so you are jumping the two points together to complete the circuit. When you look at the connector, basically you will make a "U" shape out of some wire (or a paperclip) and put it in both sides. The ATTS light will start flashing a series of long and short blinks, just like a CEL. What size are the actual tires you have on there? 18's are not a problem if they are appropriately sized; I'm currently running 215/40/17's for reference.
