Atts
Last night i had driven home and all of a sudden my check engine light, and ATTS light went on at the same time. Then the next morning i unplugged my battery to reset it and it didnt come back on, but if the light decides to come on again what may be the probelm any advice will help thanks. (98 sh stick)
you should've pulled the MIL code first before resetting it, now you'll never know what was actually wrong (meaning, what actually triggered the light to begin with).
Next time you see the CEL/ATTS light go off, pull the code:

then use the search button, search for CEL, or MIL to find more specific information about the code you got...

well you have to find out specifically whats wrong, like why the CEL light turned on to begin with.
A good place to start would be to pull the code the next time the CEL light turns on, then we can figure out what actually needs to be fixed.
So it can be something silly like an O2 sensor ($60 part for the universal fit), or something really bad like an ignition problem.... we really cant tell you whats wrong until you pull the code.

well if this is any help i do need to get the transmission fixed because there is a leak, and when i filled up my clutch fluid it dropped down to half from when i filled it up. and my friend also said it might be a burnt transmission. so hopefully its nothing major i dont have that kinda money to throw around.
your friend is wrong, you have a leak in either your master cylinder or your slave cylinder.
You can check you master cylinder by looking at the cylinder that the clutch pedal pushes into the firewall. If it is wet around that area, it means you need to replace the master cylinder.
You can check your slave cylinder by looking in the engine bay, the slave cylinder is on the front of the transmission, if you get someone to sit in the car and pump the clutch pedal, you will see it moving. If the slave cylinder is wet, you'll have to replace that.
The slave cylinder will be about $65 for the part, the master cylinder is about the same price too. You can buy these parts online at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com if you are mechanically inclined, you can replace both yourself easily. I did mine myself after the dealership quoted me $180 for parts and labor for the slave cylinder alone.
So anyways, dont go into honda or any garage and tell them you think your transmission is leaking, because they will rip you a new one. Again, you dont have a "burnt transmission", your friend doesnt know whats going on at all.
If you need more information, just search, this has been covered a LOT of times here on HT.
