the light stays on all the time, and i havent checked the tire pressure, what should it be around and would it matter if the pressure on one tire was different from the others.. any suggestions on what could be going on would be good help... thanks

what the **** kind of advice is that? please dont post without thinking.... not only is cycling the motor on/off several times NOT going to fix anything, its also BAD for the motor....
Pull the code, follow the instructions here:
http://www.hondaprelude.to/art....html
You can reset your ecu by pulling the clock/radio fuse under the hood, leave it out for a good 20 seconds, put it back in... dont reset the ECU without pulling the code first though.... you can also get a free diagnostic at autozone/advance auto parts if pulling the code for the ATTS doesnt work out as per the instructions in the link above.
and seriously... fuse issue? wtf??.. hahaha...

im posting for my friend.. im the one helping him with the problem.. if i pull the fuse for the clock and the radio, do i need to find the code for the radio again because i know when you reset that i think you need a code for the radio to work again.. and what do you think the problem could be if resetting that doesnt work?
-and the fuse problem turning the motor on/off/on/off.... hahahhah

yea, sorry, forgot to mention that you DO need the radio code. Resetting the ECU isnt going to really fix anything.
a lot of people like to pull the CEL/ATTS code first, see if they can find and fix the problem it points to, then reset the ECU to see if the same code will come up again.
If the code doesnt come up again, then your problem is fixed, or there wasnt a real problem to begin with, if it comes up again, your friend needs to take a closer look at the problem...

mprznorth.... wow, I guess maybe he should leave the car off, or how about pull out the bulb so the ATTS light stays off for good. A piece of duct tape over the ATTS light would also get rid of the problem too..
I guess i'm the dumbass here... hahaha

mmh, i shoulda said, turn the ignition point where ur lights come on off on off in the dash.. not the engine, sorry :x.. my friend had the same problem, and he just turned it on off on off and on the fourth time, sure enough it'd go away.. i tried it once when my atts light came on for no reason, and it went away too.., i thought the original question was ''I have a 97 prelude SH i like the car alot and its pretty quick.....
I made a turn oneday i wasnt going fast but after i made it the ATTS light came on..any idea why or what i can do?" so again, doesnt seem like anything harmful if hes driving normally....

Thanks all ... and yeah my friends dad has a shop and we were gunna pull the radio and get the code the other day, i wasnt goin fast when the light came on i made a left hand turn down a little bump.... how would turnin the car on and off effect the ATTS light (not turning on the motor) becasue i have driven it for like a week and it has turned on and off many times? keep posting , thanks all
So the ATTS light is still on? Did you reset the ECU yet?
If you did, and the light comes back on, pull the code.
Also, you need to list your mods (suspension, rims, tire size)

He needs to reset the ECU. If the ATTS light still comes on, he as a problem.

How many miles are on the car? Is the car stock (engine-wise)? The clutches in the ATTS unit may be wearing out. Not sure if the unit tests itself for that, but just thought i'd throw that out there.
Well im going to reset the ECU soon but yeah the car only has 67K on it i would hope the ATTS isnt already done..... ill get back to you oncei reset the ecu and tell you if that is the problem
