just dropped a new auto in my 97 after my other went out. Car's running fine, but for some reason the transmission will not work in automatic mode. goes into reverse, but I have to change gears from 1st-4th instead of just leaving it in auto. If it's in auto it just tries to go in 4th gear... maybe I left a connector off or something (know I left reverse safety switch off). What controls shifts?
