Anyone have this problem?
Most times when I go to start my car it just wont start, it doesnt try to turn over at all. I usually start all over and it takes me like 3-4 sometimes more tries to get it started, though it always starts. I thought it was the ignition switch so I had that fixed when it was recalled but it still does it. Does anyone else have this problem?

just a hinch you may want to check your starter and the starter contacts:
ground and power to the starter.
just a hinch you may want to check along that line. hope this info helps and good luck hope you find out what it really is.

try pouring a can of coke. not Pepsi, not diet coke, but regular coke on your terminals. it may be that your connections aren't clean enough.

Yea ive heard of it, it gets rid of the build up around the terminals.
I had a new battery installed a few months ago and no corrosion so its not that, maybe the plugs?

Re: (yozausa)
Today it took about 7-10 times to start. It doesnt sound weak or anything, just nothing, when it finally starts it sounds like a normal start.
I would like to hear what the dealer has to say about yozausa's car.

Re: (silver97prelude)
I had the EXACT same prob on BOTH of my previous Hondas...mostly on hot summer days.
My 1986 Accord LXi HB had the SAME prob....I was told it was the MAIN RELAY (switch?) and to bang on the dash, down and to the left of steering column while cranking the key....didnt really help....then I replaced Main Relay + it would still sporatically happen - USUALLY fixing itself after 5-10 min.
Then my second Honda a 1990 Accord EX did the SAME thing last summer...Called Honda they suggested Main Relay again.....since I had little luck the first time I instead did the spark plugs but then a week later it happened again. Usually it would start after 5-10 min BUT one time it didnt start for hours/over-night.
My Engineer friend was w/me one time it happend in the 90 Accord + he said to crank the key while hitting the gas a couple times (shouldn't have to in a Fuel Injected car) and it started RIGHT UP - he said because of a clogged injector - but I dont think that always helped.
So this summer I have a Black 94 VTEC Lude and on hot days have NO trouble so far so whatever the Honda defect is I havent had it yet. Its supprising to hear the issue still exists on a 5th gen! I guess I know of 2 general defects in our precious Hondas - Rust (in NorthEast anyway) and starting issues in the heat, but thats about it.
