Just replaced the clutch on my buddys H23/H22a (h22 head on an H23 block)

Its all back together, we started it and the alternator wont charge at all, what could I be missing? I searched and didnt find any answers. There are 4 wires going into the alt, black/yel, white/blue, white/red, and white/green


Where do these wires go? I want to check for a short somewhere but am not sure where to look. Anyone with ideas?

Battery terminals.
Grounds.
Belt.
Got those checked?

 

well, i would first take the alt. and battery to get tested at your local autoparts store...

 

I should have been more specific. Alternator tests perfectly. Belt is brand new and pulleys are clean. All of the grounds are in place. There has to be a short somewhere or something is grounding out. Im just wondering where the 4 wires on the alternator plug go, anyone have a diagram?
