Default AEM power pullys and DC header

some guy is selling DC headers ceramic coated and AEM power pulleys for $300 and its off a 5th gen prelude Type SH and i was wondering is that worth it? what do you guys think?

personally i would jump on it, but i would check the header first and see how long the pulleys were used for.

Hey. Will a base header will on an sh. because i have a dc sports header for sale. the header is off of my 97 si or base model. i will sale it for $150 plus shipping. i used it for around a year. i have just finished painting it. looks pretty sweet.

No, it will not fit. There is no USDM '97 Si model, it's just called "base".

I personally would not waste my money on a DC header, I would rather get a JDM stock header, they are on ebay and have a much better downpipe that allows better air flow.

Thanks guys, he only had the DC header and pulleys on for 2000 miles. i might be able to talk him down little bit but what do you guys think should i buy it or not?

dc header

sounds like a good deal though. I think i spent over $300 for my header a while back. Worst mistake I ever made. Noticed a huge power loss after we put it on.

for some reason it felt like i gained low end power but lost top end

in most situations you won't lose power w/a dc vs a stock one,
but you won't gain much over a stock jdm one

i would have give a big negative to the dc header. it is really not worth the money. as for the pulleys, frankly i have heard bad things about them. something about them throwing the belts out of balance or something. i would spend the money on something else if i were you.
