Default adjusting nut problem/question

we finally got the h22 in, but we loosed this bolt and now we need to tighten it up agani. is this gonigto thorugh off the balance of the belts under the timing cover or is this fine, please let me know asap

holy **** , just looked back an i cannot type for ****. ok the adjsusting nut..which is on in the timing cover is loose. we tightened it down at one time, but we had to loosen it for some reason. Can we jsut go ahead and tighten it, or do we have to redo something under the timing cover

If you loosened it, you should have had a bolt in the adjusting lever lock.

yes its the bolt is still in there but i was jsut making sure i an jsut tighten it back up with no probs

So it's the 14mm bolt for the tensioner?

If so, are you using the manual tensioner? I would turn the motor over by hand to make sure it has the correct tension on it before tightening it back up.
