The JRSC is not worth the money IMO. The dyno results prove it, I have seen a dyon on a stock prelude with the JRSC, and it had about 220hp and 175lbs of torque. For the money, you could buy a Turbo kit and have 280hp, or go with NOS and have about the same as Turbo before you run into engine trouble. I would go NOS, but would definately go Turbo before supercharger.

a 5 speed lude with i/h/e and a jrsc will run 14.0 in the 1/4. 0-60 in about 5.9 seconds. as far as i'm concerned, that's fairly decent. i know a turbo would get better numbers. i don't know numbers on an automatic though.

how about answering the question
what i know is

most tiptronic owners if they want to hook up their ride
they go JRSC and a 50 shot of NOS to cool the charged air.
In doing soo they get alot of extra power.

then comes to the transmission...the tranmission can hold a 75 shot of NOS just fine. But JRSC is always there. $$$$$$$

LEVELTEN comes into play next...upgrading the torque converter and a shift kit...and stalls...ect......$$$$$$$

downside to the autotranny is that its alot more expensive than the 5speeds
where honda trannys can hold soo much power with a stronger clutch!

Turboing it will be hard....tranny modifications will be a must !
the tiptronic tranny is very expensive

I had a JRSC on my auto integra...I know the tranny is different however, in my case the tranny would get too hot and it would slip. If i did it over again i would probaby get a tranny cooler and upgrade the torque converter. You may want to check out the supercharged integras forum at http://www.hostboard.com/cgi-bin/for...gras&number=40 they may know some more info on your question

there was an issue awhile back! think it was.."honda tuning" yeah! thats what it was, near the back of the magazine, there was an article about it. a 1999 honda prelude with a JRSC with factory tranny. settings at 6psi, and it did 13.3...could have hit high 12's with slicks!! apparently that car hit 160mph

I doubt that highly, no one here on HT with the JRSC has come close those times with stock blower settings
