Default 94 prelude swap problem.

Whats up guys, Im having a little issue with my 94 prelude with a F23A1 swap. Its all stock, and its an automatic. It seems to not be reading WOT or something, when in drive, with my foot to the floor it will rev to like 2-3k and shift really fast after that, leaving me with no power to further accelerate. If I manually shift it, it will do better, but still only revs to a maximum of 5k, with no power at all really. Im thinking its something to do with the tps, I have tried 3 or 4 new ones, but I dont have access to a Multimeter to adjust it/calibrate it, should it need adjusting? Open to suggestions here, it could be something else for all I know. Thanks ahead of time, and look forward to hearing from you guys.

Multimeter? Get one. What ECU are you running?

Well, that was a quick reply, Im running the stock p14 ecu that came in the car, so vtec is currently not wired up, and CEL are on for vtec and TPS. I know, I really do need one, but lacking on the funds at the moment.

Fix the obvious defects that you know about. Prime being the TPS. A multimeter costs next to nothing. Less than $20 at a Harbor Freight.

Yeah, this is really the only issue it is giving me, well Im almost positive the TPS is fine, its brand new. I might be able to borrow one from a friend, what steps should I go about doing once I have it? Probe the 2 wires to check for voltage?

I'm in here rarely. I'm going to hazard a guess that the procedure is right up there in the FAQs.
