if you don't stomp a 6 cylinder mustang, i'm sorry for you, and you should hand your lude over to someone else

from a rolling start i pulled on a mustang "GTR" (i'm not kidding, the kid had the nissan style GTR on it). It was a V8 so a GT, mid 90's or so. he had a passenger I didn't, so if you can't pull on the V6... listen to the above posts

oh, only had an N1 and "modified" intake at the time

Mustangs are good off the line(my friends have some) , but its only a v6 in a heavy car. You should win. Are you good from a standing start? work on that!! From a rolling start you shoudl def. win. I have beat a new gt from a rolling start, and raced a cobra from a rolling start and niether of us pulled from each other. Tried racing a saleen........not a good idea, matter of fact that same day a Z06 raced me....well not actually raced, i just put my head down and waved him by.....

you should destroy a V6 Stang.
and 5th gens aren't that much slower than 4th gens.
I've beaten a couple SRV's before.

5th gens are weak! they have no high end. a while ago i remember racing one in my 4th gen si all i had was exhaust and clutch at the time and i took off on his *** but he caught up but at like 100 we were dead even. but then again it all depends in the driver. i drove a 2000 v6 stang and they are suprisingly quick. it all depends on the driver of who wins
....Actually I thought Mustangs had no Highend power. And how are 5th gen's weak?

hmm let's think about this. The 5th gen has VTEC and caught up by 100...
your Si doesn't have VTEC and only had the jump off the line. Sounds to me like the 5th gen has the high end power, not as much low end. And every 4th gen Si i've raced i've always pulled on with just an intake and exhaust. I don't get where all the Si kills of 5th gens come from
