Hi, i have a 94 JDM prelude 2.2vtec, the 4WS light shows up, but if I disconnect and reconnect battery, problem solved for a while, till its back. I have read the other 4WS thread, but where do I find the error codes that are given?? sorry if this is stupid question. Is my next step to resolder the relay contacts?

I would resolder the contact points. I am very sure that the ECU is the problem.

my brother had the same problem, but other stuff went wrong and he just sold his car instead of fixing everything

Mine had the same problem you speak of too. Sometime the 4WS light would stay on all the time. The only way to fix it was by pulling the stereo fuse to reset the 4WS ECU.

Since I changed the 4WS ECU, it works MUCH better. It still throws the 4WS light every once in a while but usually turning the car off and back on fixes it.
