Default 3rd Gen switch question

My third gen has a switch labeled "Main" next to the driver's side air vent (on the door) can someone tell me what this does?

It should be the window lockout switch. At least thats what mine is. WHen "main" is on the pass window works. when its off it doesnt. Keeps the passengers from screwing with your windows if you dont want them to

I think I've tried that, but it didn't work, can't remember for sure.

The switch doesn't look like it would be for that, since it's bigger than the power window switches.
I thought it had something to do with the auto door locking or the air vents.

Guys, come on, don't you know thats your main boost switch? No, seriously your both wrong, its the main fuse control for the lubrication of the exhaust idle bearings. No, guys. Sorry, I don't really have a sense of humor. Mine only runs as far as my heavyset buddy Mike does. The swtich is just that, a main lockout for the windows.

It didn't work for me, so I had a look at the wires and one came out, pushed it back in, and it works now.
