Is this 1992 Prelude 4WS worth it? $7995 19k miles.

It has 19k original miles and the used car dealer is selling for $7995. Have any of you guys driven a Prelude 4WS in an HPDE or Solo2 type environment? I know in normal driving the 4WS makes it less likely to do a three point turn on a street and makes parallel parking easier.
I'm just not sure how robust the mechanicals are for driving it on a track. I'm contemplating deciding if it's worth the 3 hour drive to the dealer to check it out.

I would not pay that much for it.... Maybe if it was a 93+ SI/Vtec model I could see close to that. But its a auto, cloth basic interior, and doesnt have vtec. If I was a collector, or just wanted a clean lude to drive around I wouldnt pay more then $5k for it.
Its nice as hell no arguing there! But it is what it is, at least in my opinion.

that dealer is nuts ..it's not even a vtec motor and everything is basic even if still halfway new
i know dealers usually add 15 percent but to think that car is worth 8k he's about 3k off

we just sold a 1990 all original white si prelude at my dealer with 12k on it that wasn't really for sale, older lady came in with 20 grand cash and said take it or leave it lol, not to mention she drove in a 2000 prelude with 22k on it! two beautiful cars

Yeah I just don't see that car being worth anywhere near that much, unless that specific combo was someones dream car.
I can see someone paying a bunch for a mint 3rd gen though, as they are neat, and getting to be classics at almost 25 years old. I spied the super clean one that some old folks in my neighborhood have hiding in their garage the other day, and really want to bug them about it.

I love me a clean 3rd gen, but $20K is the price of a Evo or Sti or even the new FRS and I would go that route vs a 3rd gen, and I support 3rd gens aftermarket wise...
